On my web travels today, I came across an Obama adaptation of Super Mario World - Super Obama World. Think Super Mario World but with political themes and real (by real I mean satirical) bad guys like scavenging robbers, lipstick wearing pit bulls, farm yard pigs (with lipstick?), lobbyists, Sarah Palin (isn't she the pit bull?) and delivery trucks (which I presume are carting around terrorists or immigrants?? It's not clear). So instead of doubling in size at the touch of a magic mushroom, Obama turns from (what I imagine to be) senator, into the President with a slick MIB style suit to match. And instead of gathering coins, you demonstrate your patriotism and collect golden American flags. To top it off, each level ends with the inspiring Obama speech alteration - 'Level completion we can all believe in'.

Fashion and technology have collaborated once again to bring you an "Exclusive form of sophistication and style in contemporary mobility" - in other words it's the successor to the Prada phone by LG (that we told you about a while back). The only difference is it comes with a Prada Link accessory watch. The Link is a swanky looking Bluetooth watch, which is a great gadget in itself. The Link works in a similar way to Sony Ericsson's Bluetooth watches. So when you can't access your phone, or you're in a dodgy area and don't want to expose it to thieves, the watch will vibrate when you receive a call, display the callers ID and alert you of incoming text messages. Of course you could just show off your phone and the watch, but that's entirely up to you.

Digital photo frames... will they ever be exciting enough to top your must have list? Probably not. But manufacturers will try and bring something new to the table in an attempt to get noticed. The 8-inch iGala is a classic example of such behaviour. As well as displaying your favourite snaps in succession via some kind of fading, special effects sequence, the iGala comes with added WiFi functionality. This means Gmail, news, traffic and weather information and Flickr are just a touch away... literally - it's touchscreen. Such practical functions come at a price, and for the iGala that price is $239 USD.
